Job description : position summary the oudste director, business development is responsible for proactively canvasing the healthcare landscape to identify viable commercial opportunities in steun of the mfa ‘s multiyear strategic plan. Key responsibilities include working with colleagues in establishing business development priorities, recommending appropriate strategies to achieve business development objectives, developing appropriate initiatives and supervision of selected business development staff. The oudste director works under the direction of the chief business development officer ( cbdo ) ; and collaborates with mfa practice group administrators, and others to explore, research and react to business development opportunities for the mfa. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Collaborates with cbdo on the development of service line and regional business plans to enhance revenue opportunities for the mfa. Oversees related planning processes to ensure strategies and associated plans align with mfa vrouwen including the gwu hospital and gw gebouw of medicine and health sciences. Develops new lines of business to achieve the mfa ‘s mission. Participates in the development and support of b2b, b2c and p2p marketing efforts. Identifies potential practices for employment to expand existing physician network. Promotes a customer oriented focus ; and advocates and builds customer-client relationships. Pursues the development of strategic partnerships, relationships and alliances. Provides guidance, kenner advice, and beheer of business development staff. Participates in due diligence process, site visits, etc. Of practices that the mfa seeks to employ. Reviews contracts and acts as liefdesbetrekking with general counsel and ceo to resolve any issues impacting the process.
Collaborates with other administrators to ensure coordination and standardization, where possible, within a specialty area.
Cultivates and maintains a positive interpersonal relationships.
Participates in various mfa committees representing business development interests and perspectives.
Responsible for monitoring physician practice and hospital activity in selected regions.
Works with ongelijkheid manager and others to facilitate effective practice integration.
Develops and maintains related budgets.
Provides leadership support to practice group administrators including but not limited to business programma.
Analyzes financial data and assists with due diligence on prospective practice affiliates. Makes recommendations to executive leadership.
Participates in various mfa committees representing business development.
Participates in the development and steun of marketing efforts.
Attends regularly and otherwise scheduled meetings.
Drafting and developing proposals, concept papers and related documents for use in promoting mfa diensten.
Follows trends in related industry/field. Makes recommendations for improvements for improving customer engagement and improving brand awareness with referral sources.
Other duties as assigned.
Objective measures the number of new opportunities brought to senior management for consideration as well as the number of new proposals approved for submission ( e. G. Responses to rfps, concept papers ) will be straightforward measures. The closure / conversion rate – defined as the number of new proposals brought to closure and accepted by the prospective client for implementation will be another means. Objective and subjective measures the quality of material developed for proposals, reports and presentations. Subjective measures the flexibility and willingness of the incumbent to medestander with colleagues and clients to develop new initiatives. Education master ‘s degree – preferably in business administration, health administration or public health is necessary.
Must have 7-10 years of experience in healthcare administration and business development, including at least five years experience with marketing and business development efforts of a healthcare organization. Must be familiar with b2b, b2c, p2p, multichannel strategies. To function successfully in the position, the candidate must be a strong leader and have demonstrated team-building and problem-solving skills in a professional service environment. Must be able to successfully work with various individuals within and outside mfa. It is expected that the person will have a professional appearance and demeanor, proven interpersonal, organizational, supervisory and analytical skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. An ability to evaluate data against both judgmental and verifiable criteria is required. Incumbent must be able to research issues ( contractual, technological, and financial ) and make cogent recommendations in an expeditious manner.
